Metal Ranger is a platformer game for android in which you will play as a robot that will resist insects and other creatures that have decided to invade our homeland and bring a new world order that even slightly resembles the events of the movie "Star Troopers".

The game was prepared by independent developer Albert Zig, on whose account this is already the fourth project, but the very first in this topic. His other projects can hardly be called popular, so the novelty quickly pulled ahead with the current number of downloads, which exceeded 50,000 a bit ... anyway, the game is interesting and worthy of attention.

The game unfortunately did not receive any unfolded plot, which, of course, is determined by the modest budget, but it is precisely the plot component that is definitely not enough. One way or another, we can easily draw conclusions that events will unfold in the distant future, when soldiers are replaced by robots, only robots need to be controlled, which is what you will do. The essence of what is happening is to move around in some industrial locations and destroy insects that attack, and the essence of the conflict is also unclear, probably, they invaded us, as usual. Some interesting chips include an extensive selection of weapons that can be bought for in-game currency, only a small discrepancy is obtained here, since there are only eight locations, and you can get a weapon for viewing advertising, so you quickly go through all the locations than buy whatever you like. Nevertheless, the developer promised to add locations, for which we very much hope.

Bottom line: the Metal Ranger game is a good platformer, especially if you don’t forget that we got it from an independent developer, and not just another studio that is only trying to make money.
