In the story of the game, you will play as a knight who, during a battle with enemies, opened a magic portal that moved him to another world, where events unfold not in the best way, and there will be many difficulties on the way to returning. In general, the whole game is built on four main points (as reflected in the title), including:

Darkness (which is associated with enemies)

Light (this by itself you and your exploits)

Fear (these are all the difficulties that will have to go)

Spirit (this is patience that you definitely need)

The very same gameplay is a set of levels, each of which you will find an obstacle course that you need to bypass or jump from a battle with enemies, for this you have a sword and a shield, and of course, a battle with the final boss, who waits at the end each level.
