ניצחונות בקרבות מאפשרים לחשוף את השלבים הבאים בהיסטוריה, להשאיר את המשתמש במתח ולשמור על תככים. היזמים חשבו בפירוט על הופעתו של כל גיבור, הכינו מפות יפות ומסרו מספיק סיבות לעקוב בקפידה אחר המתרחש. עקרון הקרבות הוא אינטואיטיבי, אך אם תרצו, תוכלו לעבור אימונים ולברר פרטים נוספים על הדמויות. הודות למידע החדש, השחקן יוכל להשתמש בקסמים בצורה יעילה יותר ולנתח כיצד הגיבורים שנבחרו יכולים לצמוח ולהתפתח.
