According to rumors, Sony Ericsson is preparing for the announcement just two Android-smartphone, the updated version of last year's X10 Mini and X10 Mini Pro, which are referred to Smultron (ST15i / ST15a) and Mango (SK17i / SK17a). Presumably, the official announcement of new products will take place as early as this week. Both devices, Sony Ericsson Mango and Sony Ericsson Smultron, will be built on the basis of a gigahertz processor running the latest version of the operating system Android 2.3. A distinctive feature of the new products will be the presence of a slider Mango sliding QWERTY-keyboard, while the Smultron will be made in the classic candy bar form factor. Both devices will acquire a 5-megapixel main camera and a front, a standard set of modules, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G and GPS, as well as touch screen with a diagonal of more than three inches with a resolution of HVGA 320 x 480 pixels. Presumably, Sony Ericsson Mango and Sony Ericsson Smultron will be available in white and black housings.
